THREAD LIFT MODEL CALL
Dr. Lisa is on the lecture circuit and is preparing materials for physician training!
Recently, Dr. Lisa Vuich was asked to participate as a
faculty member at The Aesthetic Show in Las Vegas.
Next month she will also be filmed lecturing at a special meeting in California!
In preparation for the creation of more teaching modules, she is opening
up a Thread Lift Model Call for a limited number of opportunities.
Thread Lifting is a nonsurgical procedure which lifts sagging brows, cheeks
and jawlines utilizing specialized dissolving surgical sutures which are
placed under the skin to provide lift and support.
The threads dissolve slowly over time, leaving new collagen in their place.
Sometimes called “The Lunchtime Lift” because of its immediate effect,
it is the only non-surgical procedure capable of lifting the soft tissues
of the face, and it is one that she has been teaching to other physicians
since 2017.
Thread lifting uses dissolving surgical suture which is manufactured in a specific way to provide support and lift the soft tissues of the region treated.
As the threads dissolve over time, they leave only collagen in their path. Thread Lifting does not smooth or tighten the surface skin per se, but it is a very complimentary procedure if you have already had skin tightening done. It will further enhance the anti-ageing effect of any skin tightening procedure.
Results can be seen quite immediately from a thread lift as the soft tissue is immediately repositioned.
However, the lift will continue to improve over the course of at least 3 months as the collagen response to the threads occurs. One of your follow up photos will be at that 3 month mark, to document your enhanced result.
You will have some swelling both from the numbing injection used and the thread lift itself. Expect this to last a few days.
Consider taking the antihistamine Xyzal, and possibly Arnica as well as both will reduce the swelling.
Bruising is uncommon but when it occurs it is generally minimal. Minor soreness to touch is typical.
You should not have dental work, and important social engagement, or perform vigorous/face bouncing exercise (example: running/jogging, CrossFit training) for 3 weeks post procedure.
Other forms of exercise are fine. Please consult with us if you have more specific questions regarding this restriction
This is highly dependent on the type and number of threads used.
For the procedures we are offering here- these are advanced thread patterns with high thread count.
We would expect your result to last a year or more meaning that some correction will still be present at that time.
Our thread lifts are performed with PDO threads- these are dissolving surgical suture material which has been used in the medical field for over 30 years, and for thread lifting specifically since the 1990’s.
Dr. Vuich trained on Thread Lifting in London back in 2015. She has been a Thread Lifting Instructor since 2018.
The primary contraindications are:
Pregnant women
Blood Thinners or Bleeding disorders
Active Chemotherapy; Active Malignancy
Poor General Health
Skin Infection at the Treatment Site
Absolutely. The Thread Lift will only enhance your skin tightening results. The Thread Lift will add collagen at a deeper tissue level than the skin tightening did, so these are very complimentary procedures!
In most cases it does not matter. These procedures work at entirely different tissue levels and are thus very complimentary- meaning it is often a great idea to do both over time.
Our skin tightening procedures do a better job of smoothing skin than a Thread Lift does.
However, Thread Lifting can often provide a more impressive lift than skin tightening does.
That is why we call these procedures ‘complimentary’- meaning they work very well together!
Botox can be done very soon afterwards if desired. More advanced procedures such as skin tightening or dermal filler should be delayed 3 weeks.
Can I still have a Thread Lift if I have had a Face Lift in the past?
Yes, absolutely. Thread Lifting is often used by patients who have had a prior surgical procedure and are noticing the return of loose skin, as an alternative to repeat surgery
No, PDO threads are not a problem for future surgical procedures. They do not produce scar tissue.
Many surgeons use PDO threads for patients as a way to delay surgery when they feel they are ‘not quite ready’ for surgical intervention’.
